The biggest solar show in Ireland 27-28 November

News

Dear Colleagues,

I wanted to make sure you are aware of Solar Ireland 2018, the Irish Solar Energy Association (ISEA) conference, taking place on the 27th and 28th November, at Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland.

Solar Ireland 2018 (the official ISEA conference) will play host to key stakeholders in the Irish and international solar industry. This year marks a historical significance for solar in Ireland as the government has announced its first ever support for the industry in the form of a Renewable Electricity Support System (RESS). The signal to market is strong, the future is bright and prosperous for those that have invested time and energy in developing projects in recent years. The 2018 event will host an array of first class speakers with sessions including RESS/policy, market, grid, finance and community. Also due to industry demand, we have added 2 new sessions focusing on data centres and commercial rooftops.

In parallel to the Solar Ireland Conference ISEA will also be hosting a one-day installer event (27th November) at the same venue and cover topics such as market, rooftop and storage, standards, training, manufacturing and installation. We expect this event to provide an invaluable opportunity for installers to understand the industry opportunity and what is needed to ensure solar success. In addition, installers will have the opportunity to network with developers, manufacturers, policy advisors and other major players during refreshment breaks.

Over 2 days you will hear from industry experts from home and abroad, across the supply chain, on how a successful solar industry in Ireland will be transformative in job creation and investment. Solar Ireland will be a virtual roadmap to where the opportunities and challenges are. Solar Ireland 18 will play host to the who's who of the best and brightest minds on all matters solar. I urge you to register your attendance and guarantee your place at this energetic and lively debate.
