Semco Group wins order for fully automated solar post-implantation anneal system
After successful implementation of multiple generations of LYDOP-POCl3 systems at a pioneer cell producer, we are proud to announce another order for our latest design of DF6200 high-throughput furnace platform equipped with LYTOX reduced pressure post-implant activation and passivation technology.
The order includes our latest version of high throughput cassette to cassette wafer transfer automation performing back to back loading of 1400 horizontal wafers per tube. This order also includes the latest generation of state-of-the-art high throughput technology of on-the-fly sheet resistance measurement system measuring 100% of the process carrier positions launching our new partnership with Aurora Solar Technologies Inc. and showing our high confidence in the precision of our process.
We are pleased that our fully automated new system platform, including the state-of-the-art post-annealing LYTOX process, is recognized by the industry as a mature key technology brick to manufacture high efficiency mono-crystalline cells after they are doped by ionic implantation process. This Reduced Pressure LYTOX process has demonstrated significantly lower cost of ownership than atmospheric pressure competing technologies and is providing differentiating benefits to our customers.
