Solargise India signs MOU & EOI with government of Karnataka to invest over Rs. 3900 crores
Solargise India has signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" with the Government of Karnataka to set up a state-of-the-art, technologically advanced 500 MW Solar Photovoltaic Module plant and 500 MW Solar Cell manufacturing plant at Rs. 900 crores INR ($134.8 million). The plants will be located at Dabaspet, KIADB Industrial Area, Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru.
The photovoltaic module plant will also have Climate Chamber for module reliability testing and Research & Development facility for storage solutions which will be the first of its kind in India. Additionally Solargise India has also signed an EOI with the government of Karnataka to develop 500 MW of IPP solar power projects with an approximate investment of over Rs. 3000 crores.
