Gehrlicher Solar America Corp is now M+W Energy

As a company of the M+W Group, portfolio exceeds 750 megawatts

Effective immediately, Gehrlicher Solar America Corp., is now M+W Energy, Inc. This name change is a key step in brand alignment with the parent company, M+W Group. Since its acquisition by M+W Group in 2013, Gehrlicher Solar America Corp. has become a leading utility and commercial solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company.

M+W Energy provides EPC services for Fortune 1000 companies, utilities, developers, and government agencies to build photovoltaic solar and energy storage systems. In 2015, the company built 260.5 MW of new solar generation and remains a top-twenty engineering, procurement, and construction firm as ranked by Solar Power World (#1 Commercial, #18 Utility), and #1 on ENR Magazine's Top Solar Contractors list.

Ron Oakley, CEO of M+W Americas said, "Since acquiring Gehrlicher Solar America Corp. in 2013, the company's US installed base has grown from 75MW to over 560MW and maintains a contracted pipeline of over 280MW. We have strategically integrated the business, keeping the core operations intact and reinforcing the organization's infrastructure to secure larger projects and fuel sustained, long term growth."

As a company of the M+W Group, M+W Energy continues to expand its EPC offerings to include energy storage systems, hybrid energy systems, and microgrids in the US and abroad.
