Dyesol sets up global distribution through Sigma Aldrich

News

Dyesol, a developer in Dye Solar Cell (DSC) materials manufacture, has announced it has signed a global distribution agreement with Sigma-Aldrich Corporation, a life science and high technology company, whereby Sigma-Aldrich will distribute Dyesol's entire portfolio of DSC and solid state DSC (ssDSC) materials. The agreement extends a previous alliance focused on organo-metallic dyes and brings greater exposure to Dyesol's complete line of products. Dyesol is recognised globally for manufacturing DSC materials with the highest degree of quality control and reliability delivering the highest performance characteristics.

"Sigma-Aldrich is well known for high quality products, exceptional service and the strength of its global distribution network. Our alliance provides scientists around the world with easy and dependable access to Dyesol's extensive line of dye solar cell materials, including new dyes, titanium pastes, electrolytes, materials for ssDSC and our superior set of conductive silver inks for the printed electronics and solar industry," said Dr. Luca Sorbello, Sales and Marketing Manager, Dyesol.

"This agreement opens market opportunities for high performance Dyesol products and provides Dyesol greater exposure to an established user community that has experienced the benefits of the quality provided by Sigma-Aldrich. In addition, Sigma-Aldrich will expand its product selection aimed at the rapidly growing DSC and ssDSC materials market. It is my belief that this agreement will ultimately benefit the scientific community," concluded Dr. Sorbello.

Dr. Yanek Hebting, Head of Production, Dyesol, added, "Our agreement with Sigma-Aldrich demonstrates Dyesol's ability to meet the quality, performance and reliability requirements of the DSC market. Dyesol possesses the right tools, the knowhow, and a scientific staff that produces the highest quality materials. We are committed to serving the scientific community with products that enable researchers to achieve the best results from their experiments."
