Accelerated planning of solar systems: IBC SOLAR’s planning tool PV Manager

News

IBC SOLAR AG, in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage, presents the new version of its highly successful planning tool – PV Manager. In addition to enhancements of the user interface for an even more intuitive operation, PV Manager is now available as a download version providing new options for flexible access.

PV Manager is a planning tool for grid-connected PV systems in the residential and commercial sector. As a comprehensive software program, it offers a wide spectrum of functions for planning, selling and processing in one system. It assists installers through all projects – from customer inquiry, through quotation and order, to commissioning. The proven software has been re-designed thoroughly so that PV installers can now benefit from an even more reliable and faster performing platform that also offers maximum flexibility in operation. The planning tool now runs as a stand-alone, cloud-based program that is independent of browsers. This gives installers easy, secure and fast access from anywhere and at any time.

The wide-ranging functions of the planning tool are clear and easy to use. This is facilitated not only by clear graphics and a detailed visualization of the environment, but also by the clear and elaborate interface of the PV Manager. Precisely tailored to the needs of PV professionals and based on the experience of installers, automatic updates ensure that the software is always up to date.

Features at a glance

As early as in the planning stage for the PV system on a defined roof area, the PV Manager helps helps to identify possible interfering objects and shading, considers site-related weather data. In addition, the planning tool creates a comprehensive self-consumption analysis, taking into account various parameters such as e-mobility or storage systems as well as a profitability calculation, which the installer can send to his customer with a single click of a button. Afterwards, all planned components can be automatically transferred to the IBC SOLAR Online Shop and the ordering of the PV system can be triggered. Users can also grant IBC SOLAR experts access to their projects and thus get personalized advice and support
