WINAICO adds 525 watt glass-glass module to existing portfolio

News

WINAICO Deutschland GmbH is adding a large-format glass-glass module with a nominal output of 525 watts to its range for the European market.

The bifacial glass-glass modules with n-type TOPCon cell technology achieve a module efficiency of 22.10 %.

The extremely robust glass-glass construction with 2x2 mm tempered, highly transparent glass, in combination with a stable 35 mm module frame, creates excellent resistance to weathering.

With module dimensions of 2,093 x 1,134 x 35 mm and a weight of 29.7 kg, this module ranks in the league of large-format solar modules on the market.

WINAICO offers a product guarantee of 25 years on the WST-525NGX-D3 photovoltaic modules and promises a residual output of at least 87,4 %.

Delivery of the new modules is expected to start in September 2023.

"The WST-525NGX-D3 is our most powerful solar module to date and is designed for the segment of large-scale systems - ground-mounted as well as commercial systems. In many European countries, these solar modules are also in great demand for private roof systems. Thanks to the n-type TOPCon cell technology, we are able to achieve higher efficiency, lower degradation and better energy yield," says Marc Ortmanns, Director Operations at WINAICO Deutschland GmbH.
