TUV Rheinland photovoltaic certificates accepted by Japan photovoltaic expansion centre for residential solar generation installation subsidy programme
Japan Photovoltaic Expansion Center (J-PEC), a part of The Japanese Photovoltaic Energy Association, has confirmed the acceptance of TUV Rheinland Photovoltaic Certificates for the residential solar generation installation subsidy programme.

In order to meet the targets of the Kyoto protocol, the Japanese government is promoting the mass deployment of Solar Energy in residential homes throughout Japan. The Japanese Photovoltaic Energy Association, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, is offering a subsidy programme for residential homes that are installing Solar Power Systems in Japan. However, only certified Solar Panels qualify for the reimbursement programme.

J-PEC has confirmed that solar panels which carry the TUV Rheinland Photovoltaic certification will qualify for the subsidy program. These approved manufactures are listed on the JPEA website.

J-PEC's vision is to have a solar panel on every roof top in Japan and to promote solar energy installations throughout Japan as an alternative clean energy source. TUV Rheinland Japan provides the full scope of Photovoltaic testing services for all Solar manufactures with its testing Laboratories located in Yokohama. The TUV Rheinland Group has a world wide network with other Photovoltaic Labs in Shanghai, Germany and the US.
