Sonnedix adds 40 MW of capacity to its portfolio in Chile
Sonnedix, independent solar power producer (IPP) has completed the acquisition of 4 ground-mounted solar PV plants in Chile, from Building Energy Andes Spa.
The acquisition includes 19 MW of operational – since 2018 – solar PV plants, under the PMGD (small distributed generation projects) regime in Chile, and subject to the Stabilized Price Regime. A further 21MW will be added once the assets reach commercial operation in the coming months.
“Transactions like this show the variety of Sonnedix’s portfolio and our position as a strong player in Chile’s renewables sector” – said Axel Thiemann, CEO of Sonnedix – “We continue to expand our presence in the country, looking for long-term partnerships and opportunities that allows us to become a true social citizen, as we continue to build a bright future”.
Sonnedix continues actively seeking opportunities to expand its global portfolio through acquisitions and development of solar photovoltaic projects across OECD countries.
