MEMC And Linuo Sign Strategic Agreement

Agreement is a long term signing for PV wafers and modules

MEMC Electronic Materials and Shandong Linuo Power Group have signed a strategic agreement for the production of photovoltaic solar wafers and solar modules. President of MEMC Mr. Ahmad Chatila and Mr. Gao yuankun,President of Linuo Group attended the signing ceremony and signed the agreement of strategic cooperation. The agreement establishes long-term arrangements for the use of MEMC solar wafers by Linuo in the production of solar modules. It also includes arrangements for the use of Linuo's solar modules by MEMC for power-plant projects. Specific terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.


"This agreement establishes our business relationship with Linuo as a strategic partner in the rapidly growing solar-power industry," said Ken Hannah, Executive Vice President of MEMC and President of MEMC Solar Materials. "In addition to supplying wafers to Linuo, and working together on solar power plant construction in China, our most important task will be executing on our common goal of driving down the cost of solar-electricity generation."


Gao Yuankun, President of Linuo Group, added, "MEMC and Linuo share a common vision for the solar-energy market, and common values in our business strategy. We look forward to working together on a successful long-term partnership. The strong alliance between MEMC and Linuo Group will definitely bring us a double-win situation, the energy-saving and low-carbon solar energy product will be widely popularize through our effort."
