Production Ramps Up In Florida

News
ASP is expanding its solar panel manufacturing lines

To meet the growing demand for high efficiency mono-crystalline solar modules, ASP is expanding its solar panel manufacturing lines to 60MW. With a recent acquisition of large scale manufacturing production equipment, ASP covers the complete panel manufacturing process including cell inspection, tabbing, stringing, setting, lamination, simulation, trimming, and framing

Production is ramping up in July 2010. ASP plans production of 20 MW of panels (230 Watts) in the second half of 2010, and 60 MW per year thereafter, which would make ASP one of the top ten panel manufacturers in the USA - and the only one in the State of Florida. This expansion creates opportunities for all sectors of the solar industry. The company is now taking orders for delivery in the fourth quarter of the year.
