MAGE GROUP and the KRALL GRUPPE announce creation of a joint venture
Reutlingen-based MAGE INDUSTRIE HOLDING AG and the Lower Franconian Krall Gruppe make public their collaboration in the field of solar technology. In the course of the cooperative venture, MAGE INDUSTRIE HOLDING AG is to assume a majority shareholding in MAGE SUNOVATION photovoltaic solutions.

SUNOVATION GMBH, previously 100% owned by the KRALL GRUPPE, is known for its tailor-made lightweight solar power modules which are manufactured on the basis of highquality plastic materials using special production technology. Solar catamaran with SUNOVATION modules Thanks to their low weight, flexibility and unrestricted design possibilities in terms of form, colour and transparency, along with the option of function integration, these award-winning photovoltaic systems can bedeployed in a flexible and individual manner. Through the further development of the classic photovoltaic modulefrom a purely utilitarian product into a design and construction feature in its own right, SUNOVATIONopens up new options for use - above all in the fields of buildings integration, architecture and electromobility, as well as in special projects with particularly demanding requirements.

“This merger with a strong, globally established company is another important step towards the sustainable implementation of our expansion and internationalisation strategy. In MAGE we have found a trustworthy partner with whom we can aim for the future and continue to expand our innovative power,“ explains Markus Krall, partner in the KRALL GRUPPE.

“Through the joint venture with SUNOVATION the MAGE GROUP is adding a further division with bright future prospects to its existing solar and water technology operations. We assume that the demand for the integration of photovoltaic systems into buildings and vehicles will increase strongly across the world
in the coming years,“ says Dr. Markus Feil, CEO of MAGE INDUSTRIE HOLDING AG. “We are delighted that the MAGE GROUP will be reinforced by the inclusion of SUNOVATION's experienced team, which excels in terms of both its high levels of technical expertise and its professional project implementation,“ Feil continues.

MAGE SUNOVATION GMBH will be based in the Lower Franconian town of Elsenfeld. In line with the planned corporate development, the site is to see a series of expansions in the next few years in the production, sales and logistics divisions.
