Evergreen Auction Tool Opportunity

The United States Bankruptcy Court has appointed Hilco Industrial as the exclusive agent to conduct the sale of the Evergreen Solar PV Solar Wafer/Cell/Panel Facility in Devens, MA and String Plant in Midland, MI, the real estate and all related assets housed in the facilities that were used to manufacture solar Wafers to Panels. Qualifying bidders must submit all bids by October 26, 2011 to participate in the final auction taking place November 1, 2011 for the assets located at Evergreen Solar's facilities in Devens, Massachusetts and Midland, Michigan.

With more than $425M (US) invested to develop this facility in 2009, Evergreen Solar has perfected Wafer, Solar Cell and Solar Panel production to an level of efficiency that unfortunately was not matched with market success.. All related assets housed in the Devens, MA and Midland, MI facilities are also offered for sale.

All bidders must qualify in order to bid on the assets that will be offered in various lot configurations.
