Veeco Introduces Surface Metrology Product Family

Veeco Instruments Inc has introduced the ContourGT Surface Metrology Product Family, Veeco's 10th generation of precision, non-contact, 3D optical surface profilers that deliver up to 10x capacity and throughput improvements over other systems on surface measurements and analyses. Based on Veeco's industry-leading white light interferometry (WLI) technology, the ContourGT features patented, higher brightness dual-LED illumination and superior vertical resolution to enable precision measurements, even in difficult applications. Featuring the new Veeco-developed Vision64 operating and analysis software platform and an intuitive, modular user interface, the ContourGT is the industry's most advanced and easy-to-use family of non-contact 3D optical surface profilers. Designed to help increase yield and decrease manufacturing costs, the ContourGT is a tool for production QA/QC and R&D precision machining and manufacturing applications within the high brightness LED, solar, ophthalmic, semi-conductor, medical device and academic research markets.
