Conergy supplies modules for 5MW solar power plant in UK 

Just a few months after the 5.3 megawatt large-scale power plant in Murcia was connected to the grid, Conergy's long-standing Spanish partner Solaer has once again turned to the system supplier's quality and experience to help it take the plunge in the UK market. For its first major 5 megawatt project in the UK, the Spanish company has installed more than 21,000 Conergy PH solar modules. The solar power plant is located in the village of Eastcott near Bude in Cornwall, and in future it will produce around 5.3 million kilowatt hours of solar power each year "“ enough to supply more than half the population of the Bude area with environmentally sound electricity. At the same time, the solar park will prevent around 1,900 tonnes of harmful CO2 emissions.
