ISOFOTON has actively taken part on Global Clean Energy Forum, a renowned international event participated by main corporate players on energy sector, international consultancy firms and institutional representatives to debate main guidelines to be followed for the future development of renewal energies. Regarding this event, Angel Luis Serrano, President of ISOFOTON has participated on an specific exhibition panel about growing relevance of emerging markets on future of clean energies. In this sense, remarking increasing strength of those countries, Serrano call European Governments to "maintain European leadership on R&D, rolling out all the investments already developed within this industry through the export of European technology to those emerging markets that currently have capital, demand and resources in order not to waste all knowledge and investment developed during so many years". "Research, development and innovation are basic indicators of any country`s growth level, being as well fundamental assets in new markets that face the birth of a new industry so fast-moving and technology- dependent as renewal energy industry. European countries can provide a great insight on this. There just can`t be growth without R&D" stated Serrano.
Besides this panel, where he could share debate with Minister for Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan, H. E. Kapparov Nurlan Zhambulovich, Associate Editor for International Herald Tribune, Mr Stanley Reed; or Chairmans of renowned renewal companies from Asia like Suzlon or Qatar Solar Technologies, Isofoton introduced a special think tank about Third Industrial Revolution Model explained by expert economist and specialized advisor on energetic issues Professor Jeremy Rifkin.
