Atonometrics provides a Continuous Solar Simulator to NREL
Test and measurement company Atonometrics, Inc., has announced that it has delivered a Continuous Solar Simulator to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. The system includes an integrated I-V measurement system and will be used for Light Soak tests of full-size PV modules.
"NREL is one of the world's premier solar testing and research laboratories," said William Stueve, Atonometrics president and CEO. "We are very excited to be working with NREL to improve the quality and reliability of solar panels."
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is the U.S. Department of Energy's primary national laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development.
NREL has 1,700 full time employees and 800 visiting researchers, interns, and contractors.
