SunEdison proposes public offering
SunEdison has announced that it will file a prospectus supplement to a registration statement filed on Form S-3 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), relating to a proposed underwritten public offering of shares of common stock. The Company will be offering 30,000,000 shares of its common stock. The underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,500,000 shares of common stock from the Company, all at the offering price less the underwriting discount.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, which it expects to include funding working capital and growth initiatives.
Deutsche Bank Securities and Goldman, Sachs & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
