Kaco opens Saudi office

News

Together with their Saudi Arabian partner Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) KACO new energy has started offering inverters for the Arab world in 2013. Since 2014 KACO new energy is operating a new office in Riyadh dedicated to the continuous success of AEC.

Right before the turn of the year, KACO new energy has opened its latest office located in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh. It's there that Harald Kellner will make sure that AEC is provided with all the technical and sales support they need to be successful in manufacturing and distributing their inverter line "powered by KACO new energy". Mr. Kellner will make good use of his many years of experience in Arab countries to keep cooperation between Neckarsulm and Riyadh close and effective.

During the "Joint Forces for Solar" trade show and conference in September 2013 AEC and KACO new energy had revealed their first localized PV inverter technology product family, which ranges from 20 kW to 1.5 MW. AEC named the PV inverters "Shams", which means "The Sun" in Arabic. The green colour of the Shams units symbolizes a green environment and matches the colour of the Kingdom's flag.

Shams is the first range of PV inverters which complies with the K.A.CARE local content conditions, according to the terms of the published procurement white paper draft. Shams can achieve the maximum credits as a Saudi made PV inverter from a Saudi company, which has more than 25 years of specialized local manufacturing experience and a job Saudization ratio of over 73%.
