BISOL releases new solar powered street light
BISOL Group has released a self-sufficient solar street light that is composed of European components with IP 65 protection, top performing PV modules and long lasting batteries. The BISOL SSL-30 comes equipped with smart features such as automatic on/off and dimming functions promoting intelligent energy management and longer autonomy.
The BInew light proves to be most cost effective when planning the expansion of the existing illumination infrastructure to new areas. Without the need for expensive excavation works, laying cables or grid connection, the solar lighting presents an affordable way to illuminate entire communities. BISOL solar street lights are especially suitable for use on smaller roads, parking lots, residential streets, driveways, walking paths, bicycle lanes and in industrial areas.
BISOL SSL-30 is powered by a specially designed 250 Wp BISOL Premium module for more efficient battery charging. The 30 W LED-light source with up to 100,000 hours of service life comes with a zero upward light output ratio (ULOR=0) causing almost no light pollution. Autonomy is guaranteed by the wide selection of 12 V AGM Solar Deep Cycle technology energy storage solutions ranging from 90 to 135 Ah of battery capacity. With 1,500 cycles of battery life at 50 % depth of discharge (DOD) they will continue to power the solar light for up to 10 years.
