Continuous growth with PERC and cell cutting technology
InnoLas Solutions GmbH enjoyed a successful year 2014 with continuous growth and technological breakthroughs. Already in the first quarter of 2015, InnoLas Solutions has received new orders for its high throughput laser machine for PERC technology equal to an overall production capacity of nearly one gigawatt of solar cells per year. And still there are several more solar cell manufacturers, who are currently planning to implement this process in their production lines.
The Ultrafast PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) process helps to increase solar cell efficiency, thus reducing the overall cost of solar power. InnoLas Solutions won the PV tools category of the Solar Awards 2014 for its ILM-2 laser system and the ultrafast Laser Contact Opening (LCO) Process for the PERC technology.
