Enphase Strengthens Its Presence in the Netherlands

Enphase Energy, Inc has announced that the company is increasing local sales operations and resources in the Netherlands to provide leading-edge support and services to its rapidly expanding base of Dutch customers.

Enphase's expansion into the Netherlands will fulfill domestic demand with a full selection of services, ranging from pre-sales, post-sales and marketing to technical support and training. The new services are expected to improve efficiency and competitiveness, while providing a state-of-the-art customer experience in the country.

"We've made terrific progress in the Netherlands, where we have installed around 6.000 PV systems since inception in 2012," stated Olivier Jacques, managing director, EMEA, Enphase Energy. "This demonstrates the value our advanced solar energy solution delivers for Dutch photovoltaic rooftop applications. Essential to continued success is an expanded local team, with widespread presence in the country and extensive industry and customer expertise. I am delighted that we have that level and breadth of skill within the Dutch team now."

To date, the Enphase systems already in the Netherlands have produced more than 16.2 GWh of clean energy, equivalent to offsetting over 11.150 metrics tons of CO2. The photovoltaic market was developing rapidly when Enphase first entered the Netherlands, and the installed capacity of solar continues to grow steadily today. As reported by Holland Solar, the cumulative PV capacity in 2014 expanded enough to cross the one-gigawatt threshold.

To support the local Dutch team, a series of new tools and a custom-designed website have been created. The new Enphase.com/nl has been designed to bring customers a more streamlined user experience, with improved navigation and functionality, allowing access to extensive company and product information such as commercial documentation, technical datasheets, videos and white papers.

"The Dutch are one of Europe's populations most receptive to renewables, and Enphase has rapidly gained praise and fast adoption thanks to our best-in-class performing solar system technology," said Frank Berets, Enphase Energy country manager for the Netherlands. "Our new Dutch organization, a strengthened network of local partners and our new set of installer tools, are part of the company's ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to the Dutch solar community."
