TrinaBESS new hybrid residential storage solution in US

News

TrinaBESS has unveiled TrinaHome S Series, the new hybrid residential energy storage solution in the United States. After a successful market introduction in Europe, TrinaBESS has adapted the product to respond to the American grid requirements and the UL, CA rule 21 and HECO standards. The TrinaHome S Series "“ US Edition - will be introduced at Solar Power International 2017 in Las Vegas, from September 10th to 13th.

The solution was developed for new installations combining solar and energy storage. The hybrid inverter replaces both the PV inverter and the battery inverter, making the system more cost effective and reducing installation time.

"TrinaHome series are residential energy storage systems designed for the home owners. TrinaHome series were successfully introduced in Europe, Australia and Japan. The products are adapted to each country needs and the market is reacting well to our presence." Said Frank Qi, General Manager of TrinaBESS. "Adapting this successful product to different regions of the globe was the natural next step for TrinaBESS in their ambition of worldwide expansion."

"TrinaHome S Series "“ US Edition - reduces not only workload but also equipment and wiring. With its building block configuration, the installation takes only one person a couple of hours. The cost of installation is reduced by an estimate of at least 40%. The system is user friendly and can be remotely controlled from a mobile device." said Anne Torricelli, Director Energy Storage Solutions, North America. "While TrinaHome S Series "“ US Edition - is for new residential installations, TrinaBESS will still provide TrinaHome - PowerCube 2.0, the retrofit energy storage system for existing solar installations."

TrinaBESS is a world leading manufacturer and integrator of energy storage solutions for residential, commercial and utility sectors, from 1.5 kWh to large-scale multi-MWh energy storage systems.
