New Energy Scout GmbH becomes part of Basler & Hofmann AG

News

The breakthrough of renewable energies requires holistic concepts and collaboration among different disciplines. To this end, the team at New Energy Scout GmbH became part of Basler & Hofmann AG. New Energy Scout’s proven experts in the areas of wind, solar and biogas energy will join Basler & Hofmann’s new centre of competence for renewable energies.

Active in some 30 different disciplines, renowned Swiss engineering, planning and consulting company Basler & Hofmann is broadly positioned and has had a strong foothold in energy consulting and photovoltaics for many years.

Depending on the specific requirements, interdisciplinary teams are established for the company’s projects. New Energy Scout’s proven experts in the areas of wind, solar and biogas energy will serve as a complement to the strong photovoltaics and energy consulting team Basler & Hofmann has already established. Basler & Hofmann is taking on New Energy Scout’s business operations in the area of services. The solar fence product will continue to be offered by a separate company that is independent from Basler & Hofmann.

Full of energy into a joint future

The new combined team will serve as the new centre of competence for renewable energies at Basler & Hofmann, bringing together all of the disciplines required for the development of complete energy systems: From the production of energy from wind, solar and biomass to storage in e.g. hydrogen to distribution and maintenance of plants. The focus always is on the efficient use of energy. Thanks to the close integration with other disciplines, such as structural engineering, building services, infrastructure construction or portfolio management, clients get a partner who can provide them with comprehensive assistance for their projects.
