Amtech Announces Multi Million Dollar Solar Orders

The company's solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems, received $9.0 million in follow on orders.
Amtech Systems, a supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells, semiconductors, and silicon wafers, announced that its solar subsidiary, Tempress Systems, has received $9.0 million in follow on solar orders for its diffusion processing systems from two existing customers based in Asia.

J.S. Whang, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amtech, commented, “These orders reflect the continuing capacity expansion programs we are seeing with our solar customers, and demonstrate the increasing acceptance and demand for our solar products from our worldwide customer base. We remain optimistic about continued strength in our order bookings pipeline.”
