Inverter Technology Introduction
Suntech Brings Enphase micro inverter technology to its U.S. dealer network
Suntech Power Holdings has announced that it will offer the Enphase Micro-inverter to its network of U.S. Authorized Dealers.
"Enphase Energy has come out with some very impressive inverter technology that will change the way solar is installed. We want to help our Authorized Dealers stay ahead of the curve, which is why we decided to make this available to our customers," said Roger Efird, President, Suntech America, Inc.
In comparison to centralised inverters, Enphase micro inverters bolt directly to the solar system racking, reducing installation time and cost. Increased versatility in system size and module positioning enables Suntech Authorized Dealers to capture new business and speed up the installation process. Enphase's Enlighten monitoring and analysis system also gives unprecedented insight into the performance of a homeowner's solar system.
''Suntech delivers a top quality solar module to its dealers and their customers. Enphase is committed to partnering with leading solar technologies and as such we are excited to be a part of the offering Suntech is making to its authorized installers,'' said Paul Nahi, Chief Executive Officer of Enphase Energy.
As its Authorized Dealer network grows in the United States, Suntech's goal of making solar more affordable and accessible to a broader spectrum of customers is becoming a reality. Suntech is dedicated to the adoption of advanced technologies that target to help solar become a mainstream form of energy in the United States and across the world.
Suntech will stock Enphase Micro-inverters alongside Suntech modules in its US warehouses to ensure streamlined ordering for Suntech Authorized Dealers. Initially Suntech has ordered approximately 1 MW of Enphase Micro-inverters.
