Record PV Production
Isofoton reaches its highest production level
Isofoton has attained a historic production figure of 9.4 MW of photovoltaic modules manufactured at the company's Research and Production Centre in Málaga. This increase has been made possible by the introduction of technological improvements that have optimised the production process.
The company considers this increase in the production capacity to be vital for it to be able to meet the greatly increased demand from European clients. This has allowed Isofoton to sign contracts for orders paid in advance guaranteeing the sale of the whole of its production capacity up until January 2011.
These results consolidate the strong financial solvency of Isofoton after the company's acquisition of the AFFIRMA-Toptec Consortium. In July the Consortium contributed 50 million euros to strengthen Isofoton's financial balance, once the company is free of long-term debt.
Likewise, in recent months the contracts for the supplying of raw materials have been satisfactorily renegotiated. As a result of this there has been an increase in the working capital.
