Veeco Reports Record Revenues
4Q 2010 revenue achieved USD$300 million
Veeco Instruments Inc, has announced financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2010, reporting record revenues of USD$300 million for the quarter and USD$933 million for the full year.
The company also released financial guidance for the first quarter and full year 2011, projecting revenues of over USD$1 billion in 2011.
“The fourth quarter of 2010 was the best in our history, and we are extremely proud of our performance," commented Veeco CEO John Peeler. "These results were achieved through a combination of world-class products, a focus on high-growth market opportunities, operational excellence, our flexible manufacturing strategy, and a deep commitment to satisfying our global customers.”
Veeco predicts 1Q 2011 revenues between USD$215 million and USD$265 million.
For the full year 2011, Veeco predicts revenues greater than USD$1 billion.
