Solectria Renewables expands facility to 800mw capacity
Solectria Renewables celeberated its 800MW manufacturing capacity expansion at its facility in Lawrence, MA.
The celebration was attended by distinguished Commonwealth of Massachusetts officials including Niki Tsongas, Congresswoman, 5th District; Phil Giudice, Energy Undersecretary, Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs; Mark Silvia, Commissioner, DOER; and Barry Finegold, State Senator.
"It is an honor to be a part of this celebration," said Congresswoman Niki Tsongas. "Solectria's expansion in Lawrence is creating clean energy jobs in our own backyard while promoting reliable, domestically produced sources of energy."
"This expansion brings more good news to the Massachusetts clean energy sector. The Commonwealth congratulates Solectria Renewables for creating and maintaining local manufacturing and professional jobs," Energy Undersecretary for the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Phil Giudice, said. "With the Patrick Administration's unwavering support and the strongest framework for clean energy in the country, Massachusetts continues to emerge as a national center for clean energy technology development."
