Bangladesh Joint Venture Announcement

GRAM and RIMAS strategic alliance in Bangladesh

RIMAS is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with GRAM. This is the start of a cooperation that aims toward a strong driving force and franchise formula for the production of solar panels in the Bangladesh region.

Global Resource Augmentation & Management (GRAM) Ltd., with its corporate office in Dhaka Bangladesh, is a development and consultancy company with a focus on environmental friendly projects. With this investment GRAM will achieve a leading role for the production and installation of solar panels. Thanks to the cooperation with Rimas, high end production technology, experience and support is secured for this purpose. In addition to capital GRAM also brings in knowledge of the local market and business practices.

For RIMAS this is another step in the company's strategy to expand market share in solar panel production facilities worldwide. This year Rimas will roughly triple last year's turnover. Moreover, the company is now present in almost every region of the globe.

Owner Mark Verstraten said, "On top of this it makes me proud to be able to contribute to the economic development of emerging regions".

An application is made for the Private Sector Investment program of the Dutch government. This allows the partners to seize the opportunities in this emerging country and to create a driving force for growth.
