New boss for Innotech

News

Innotech Solar has announced that Jerry Stokes has joined the company as CEO effective 3rd June 2013.

Jerry was formerly President of Suntech in Europe and will replace David Hogg who is leaving to join a leading developer of PV power plants. David will remain on the board of Innotech Solar AS.

Commenting on the changes Tellef Thorleifsson, Chairman of Innotech Solar paid tribute to the strong leadership of David Hogg during his tenure as CEO at a time when the solar industry has faced tremendous challenges and where many companies have pulled out of the market. "David has overseen significant internal re-organisation and rationalisation at Innotech which has created a strong and stable foundation from which the company confidently expects to grow despite the continued market uncertainty".

With over 25 years' experience in the technology market place and with the last 10 years in the PV industry Jerry Stokes has significant strategy, business development and senior management and leadership experience.

"Jerry has the proven track record and core competencies that will enable the next phase in the development and growth of Innotech Solar as we seek to broaden our sales network and expand our business", said Thorleifsson.

In talking about his new position Stokes said "I have been following the progress at Innotech Solar with great interest and am excited to have the opportunity to lead the company as we leverage our unique technology, highly respected brand and high performance products to expand our business".

Stokes will be based in Munich where the Sales and Marketing operations of Innotech Solar are located.
